A2P 10DLC is a carrier-wide requirement for businesses sending text messages in the US — it exists across the entire industry, applies the same way whether your numbers are on Telnyx or Twilio, and it's not something any dashboard, TelBuddy included, invented or has authority over.
Being direct about what TelBuddy does not do. TelBuddy does not register your A2P 10DLC Brand or Campaign on your behalf. That registration happens directly with your carrier and requires your business's real legal information — including your EIN — submitted straight to them. There's no shortcut through a third-party tool for this part of the process; anything that claims otherwise isn't being accurate about how carrier-level registration actually works.
Why this distinction matters. It's easy to assume a platform that manages your phone numbers also handles this kind of carrier compliance step automatically — TelBuddy deliberately doesn't claim to, because it genuinely can't; only your carrier can verify and approve your Brand and Campaign registration.
