Which carrier are you connecting?
Setup Guide
Connect your own Telnyx account to TelBuddy in a couple of minutes โ same dashboard, same features, your choice of carrier.
Telnyx is optional and additive โ connecting it doesn't change or remove your existing Twilio setup. Use one, the other, or both.
Grab a fresh API key from your Telnyx account โ this is what TelBuddy uses to connect on your behalf.
๐ Your API key is encrypted in transit and stored securely. TelBuddy never shares your Telnyx credentials and only uses them to authenticate requests on your behalf.
Where you paste the key depends on whether you already have a TelBuddy account.
Go to Teams & Numbers โ API Keys tab, paste your Telnyx API key, and click Save & Verify.
Paste your key on the Onboarding screen, in the "Connect Telnyx" step โ it's optional, so you can skip it and add it later if you'd rather.
Back on the Phone Numbers tab, click Sync from Telnyx. TelBuddy pulls in your numbers and configures the messaging and voice webhooks automatically โ no manual setup.
Texting, call forwarding, voicemail, business-hours routing, the IVR builder, AI SMS draft/auto-reply, the AI Voice Receptionist, and the in-app outbound dialer all work the same regardless of carrier โ see the full Telnyx support page for details.
Takes about as long as connecting Twilio did the first time around.
No. Connecting Telnyx doesn't touch your Twilio setup at all โ use Twilio, Telnyx, or both under the same TelBuddy account.

Yes. Texting, forwarding, voicemail, business hours, the IVR builder, AI SMS draft/auto-reply, the AI Voice Receptionist, and the in-app dialer all work identically, regardless of carrier.
