Call, Text, and Notes From Any Number

Every phone number shown next to a message in the inbox is clickable, and clicking it opens a small menu with four shortcuts — designed so a teammate can act on a conversation without ever leaving the inbox to go dig up a phone number or open a separate contact screen.

The four options:

• 📞 Call — opens the in-app dialer with that number already filled in, ready to place a call in one more click.
• 💬 Text — jumps directly to the reply composer for that exact conversation, skipping any need to search for it.
• 📝 Notes — a fast, lightweight view of notes already saved for that number, plus a field to add a new one right there.
• 👤 Full View — the complete customer profile: full message history, editable contact info, and the entire notes log with any attachments. See Full View: Contact Info and a Real Notes Log.

Why this exists as a popover instead of a separate page. The whole point is speed during an active conversation — if a teammate is mid-thread with a customer and needs to jot a quick note or place a call, going to a different screen and searching for that customer by name or number would break the flow. This keeps everything reachable in one click from exactly where the conversation already is.

Carrier doesn't change any of this. Whether the conversation is happening on a Twilio number or a Telnyx number, the same four options behave identically — there's nothing carrier-specific about contact actions.
