Aloware Alternative: Seat Minimums and Per Minute AI

Aloware Alternative: Seat Minimums and Per Minute AI

Aloware is built for sales teams, and its pricing tells you that before any feature list does. If you are looking at alternatives, the useful comparison is not feature by feature. It is whether you are the customer they built it for.

Checked against aloware.com on 15 August 2026. Pricing changes, so verify before deciding.

What Aloware is

A contact centre platform for sales and support teams, with a power dialler, CRM integrations into HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and others, call coaching, and an AI voice agent.

For an outbound sales team living inside a CRM, that is a coherent and well built product. The dialler and the CRM integration are the point, and if those are what you need, it does them properly.

The numbers, and why they matter

Two things stand out on their pricing page.

Seat minimums. Enterprise tiers start at five to ten users. The startup packages are around one hundred and ninety nine dollars a month for three users, or three hundred and ninety nine for five.

AI voice is billed per minute. The AloAi Voice Agent is listed at around ten cents a minute, on top of the seat cost.

Work that through. Three hundred AI minutes in a month, which is a modest amount for a business using AI to answer its phone, is about thirty dollars in AI charges before any seats. Do a thousand minutes and it is a hundred.

That is not unreasonable pricing for an outbound sales dialler, where AI voice is an occasional tool rather than the front door. It is expensive if AI answering the phone is the main thing you wanted.

Where the two products diverge

Team size. Aloware starts at three users minimum. If you are one person, or two, you are buying seats you do not use. TelBuddy starts at one.

Carrier ownership. Aloware's Twilio Marketplace listing describes deploying into your Twilio account, but their current pricing page describes calling on their own infrastructure rather than yours. Those are different models, and if bring your own carrier matters to you, ask them directly which applies today rather than trusting either page.

AI billing. Per minute on top of seats, versus included minutes in a plan. Which is cheaper depends entirely on volume, and it is worth doing the arithmetic with your own numbers rather than accepting either headline.

Who it is for. Aloware is aimed at sales teams making outbound calls. TelBuddy is aimed at a business that wants its incoming phone answered properly. Those overlap less than the feature lists suggest.

When Aloware is the right answer

Genuinely, and this is not a courtesy.

If you have a sales team of five or more, they live in HubSpot or Pipedrive all day, and the job is making a lot of outbound calls with logging and coaching, Aloware is built for exactly that and TelBuddy is not. A power dialler is a specialised tool and we do not have one.

Buying an inbound receptionist to do outbound sales calling would be the wrong decision, and you would be unhappy.

When it is not

If you are a small team, or one person, and the problem is that calls come in and nobody can always answer them, the seat minimum alone makes it the wrong shape. You would be paying for three seats and a per minute AI rate to solve a problem that is really about the phone ringing while you are busy.

What switching actually involves

This one depends on an answer you have to get from Aloware directly.

If your numbers are in your own Twilio account, moving is straightforward: point the webhooks elsewhere and the numbers never move. If the numbers were provisioned by the provider, you are porting, which means a form, a waiting period and a window where things can go wrong.

Ask before you sign up, not when you leave. "If I cancel, do my numbers come with me, and how long does that take?" The answer shapes every renewal conversation you will ever have with them, and it is a much easier question to ask on the way in.

What to actually compare

Skip the feature grids. Answer three questions.

  1. How many people need to use it? Under three, seat minimums decide it for you.
  2. Inbound or outbound? A dialler and a receptionist are opposite products.
  3. How many AI minutes a month? Multiply by the per minute rate and compare against a plan with minutes included. At low volume per minute usually wins. At steady volume it usually does not.

Three questions, ten minutes, and a clearer answer than any comparison table will give you. Including this one.

Frequently asked questions

What does Aloware cost?

As checked on 15 August 2026, enterprise tiers run roughly $30 to $100 per user per month with 5 to 10 user minimums, and startup packages around $199 a month for 3 users. The AI voice agent is billed separately at around $0.10 a minute.

Is Aloware bring your own Twilio?

Their Twilio Marketplace listing describes deploying into your Twilio account, but their current pricing page describes their own infrastructure. Ask them directly which applies today rather than trusting either page.

When is Aloware the better choice?

When you have five or more people making outbound sales calls from a CRM like HubSpot or Pipedrive and need a power dialler with logging and coaching. That is a specialised tool and TelBuddy does not have one.

When is it the wrong shape?

When you are one or two people and the problem is incoming calls going unanswered. Seat minimums alone make it the wrong fit, before the per-minute AI rate is considered.

TelBuddy turns everything in this guide into point-and-click settings: IVR menus, forwarding, voicemail, webhooks, and A2P sync, on top of your own Twilio account.
