Home / Docs / Mobile App / Adding TelBuddy to Your iPhone
TelBuddy can live on your iPhone Home Screen as its own icon, launching full-screen with no visible Safari address bar and no App Store listing to install from โ useful if you or your team check the inbox and dialer frequently and don't want to open a browser and type in the URL every time.
How to add it. Open telbuddy.com in Safari (this only works through Safari, not other iOS browsers), tap the Share button, tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. The icon appears on your Home Screen exactly like any other app from that point on.
Being accurate about what this actually is. This is a genuine chrome-free launch shortcut โ no browser bar, no visible tabs โ but it's not a true native offline-capable app. There's currently no push notification support and no offline access; opening it still requires a live internet connection, the same as opening it in a browser tab. The difference is entirely in how it looks and launches, not in what works when you're offline.
Why this is still worth doing. Even without offline support, removing the friction of opening Safari, typing or searching for the URL, and waiting for a bookmark to load adds up over dozens of checks a day โ a single tap from the Home Screen is a meaningfully faster habit to build for anyone checking texts or calls throughout the day.
